Elen
Elen is the goddess of journeys, and the roads, paths and trackways that make journeys possible. In Britain we still find Ellie stones, and Elen’s causeway. Elen is the Goddess who keeps the cycles of nature in balance, and
ensures continued fertility.
Whether you are making journeys in the physical realm, from place to place, using modern transport, or ancient tracks, or whether you are journeying on your life path,
making decisions, fulfilling plans and completing resolutions, Elen of the Ways, is the Goddess to turn to for help.

The Wye Valley, from Symonds Yat
Symonds Yat
The area is named after Robert Symonds, the 17th Century Sherriff of Herefordshire, and the word, "Yat" means "Gate" or "Pass".
The River Wye at Symonds Yat has cut a deep gorge in the Carboniferous Limestone exposing impressive cliff faces. At the nearby 'King Arthur's cave' on the Great Doward, there have been important archaeological discoveries including the remains of a Hyena family and Sabre-toothed Cat bones.
