Nisey O'Donnell
I asked Nisey to provide the sketches for Ritual Journeys with Great British Goddesses. She is an excellent artist, my closest friend and the person who introduced me to Kith of the Earthen Star. She works with various media, but we chose pencil sketches for the interior of the book to keep simplicity, yet evoke a core feature of the landscape or essence of each Goddess.
We wanted to create a different sketch to portray each Goddess without resorting to fantasy. Each sketch is relevant to the Goddess in her location and centres on a core theme.
Nisey has created art work linked to the astrological zodiac, including a full set of masks for each sign of the zodiac. She is a qualified astrologer.
