The Goddess Andred was invoked by Boudicca, the tribal leader of the Iceni, who at the height of her powers in AD 60 and AD61, waged her last  battle  against the Romans.  

The name Andred has been interpreted to mean many things, but most agree at “great”, “victorious”, wonderful”, “she of the battle”, “the invincible”, and“she who has not fallen”
present an interpretation of her name.
