Cup and Ring Marks, Ilkley
Cup and ring marks comprise a concave depression surrounded by concentric circles. Sometimes there is also a linear channel. This is called a gutter and leads from the middle of the cup and ring mark to the outside. It is an element of Megalithic Art (4000 to 5000 years old)purposely worked on rocks and
